Had to be at Richmond High at 7:30 for the BCTLA Conference, Champions of Literacy. Well organized but cold in the larger spaces. Went to a couple of sessions and skipped to 3rd to rest. The Executive had a meeting after it was over.
Several were staying at the Sandman Vancouver Airport (old Airport Inn) so we had dinner at their restaurant, Chop Steak Fish Bar - Creamy Seafood Chowder:

grainy mustard rub and savoury bread crumb crust, finished with merlot and garlic demi-glace, served with infused mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Very good but expensive.

Dr. Brough's office called to book an appointment as my blood test yesterday indicated rheumatoid arthritis. I'll see him a week Monday. This will be why my hands have been so painful.
