Diane picked me up this morning (and took out the garbage). We sat in Bean Around the World on Granville and played Scrabble. The game was pretty close but I won! I also had a latte & scone.
We stopped at VanCity so I could deposit a couple of BCTF cheques and get more cash for cabs.
I complimented Suspicious Circumstances by Sandra Ruttan. She sent me a thank you and then autographed copies of her new titles, What Burns Within and The Frailty of Flesh. What a great gift for someone who sits around all day! She lives in Maryland but the books are about the Lower Mainland. I love reading about Vancouver and she is a good storyteller. I am already well into the first book.
