Karen in Tunisia

My friend, Karen Lindsay, is in Tunisia right now.  Actually she is in Dubai and can't get back to her house in Tunis and her visiting daughter http://tunistravels.blogspot.com

There was blue sky this morning when it was supposed to be raining all day.  Headed for Delta and found 3 caches.  Had good soup for lunch and then back home by 2.

Canucks had a great game tonight.

My aunt's obituary was in the paper today:

1916 - 2011
Mrs. Merle Lind, beloved mother of Ross Lind, passed away peacefully after an extended struggle with Alzheimer's, in Bethany Collegeside facility in Red Deer on Monday, January 10, 2011, at 94 years of age. Merle was born November, 17th, 1916 in Rossburn, Manitoba. Merle was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Lind and all her brothers and sisters - Wilber, Ronald, Vernon, Zena, Erma, Hazel and Eunice. Merle enjoyed life to the fullest with a great smile and quick wit. Merle enjoyed golfing and shuffleboard during the many years while wintering Arizona. Merle was a Navy Veteran. Merle is survived by her son Ross (JoAnn) Lind, grandson Jay (Elaun) Lind, and great granddaughter Emolin, and many loving step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and very special friends, Enid and Tom (sister and brother in law), Reeve and Neil Brookwell. A service will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations in Merle's name may be made directly to the Alzhiemer's Society of Alberta, 1531- Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5H 4K1.
