The snow disappeared quickly last night so I had no trouble making the 9:30 appointmen with the rheumatologist. He thinks I might have Sjogren's Syndrome - an autoimmune disease. It would explain the deterioration of calcium the x-rays show in my wrists and a bunch of other symptoms. So I now have a new pill - hydroxychloroquine sulfate. At least my eye exams will now be paid for to watch for side effects.
Did some Christmas shopping in Richmond and then visited Weir a lunchtime. Hardly anyone left I taught with. Rum was out but came back at 1:15 so I could pick up my Purdy's order.
Stopped at Safeway for the pills and then home.
